I’m not a (Hank) Player. I just crush a lot.

“Favorite t-shirts don’t come along very often, but if your drawer is filled with Hank Player, they’ll come along every day!”

Okay, Boy Moms, back me up here. Finding clothes for the little man in your life can be difficult and limiting, right? It’s hard because I don’t want everything Joshua wears to have sports on the front. Or a cartoon character. Or anything that says “My Name Is: Trouble.”

Enter Hank Player.

Hank Player is a children’s clothing retailer who began their line by specializing in boy’s apparel. (They have recently added a girl’s line, though, so never fear Girl Moms. And they have a men’s line, too!)

Hank Player strives to create a quality, long lasting t-shirt that brings together a combination of hip, novelty graphics and vintage inspired colors. All about clean designs, Hank Player tees are garment dyed and vintage washed to give it a familiar lived-in and super soft, comfy feel.

When Sandy contacted me about doing a review for Hank Player, it took me about .02 seconds of looking at their boy’s t-shirts to shout “YES!” into my email. Except I typed it. In a much more decorous manner.

(And then it took me many loads of laundry to realize why I liked this company. Because we already own one of their shirts thanks to my mother-in-law who saw snagged this one as part of Joshua’s back-to-school wear.)

So then I had to DECIDE which (other) shirt I wanted for Joshua. So I polled Dan. Who immediately jumped to this one:

This is his "ower pace" shirt.

The shirt arrived in the middle of a cold snap and I was afraid Joshua wouldn’t get to wear it. And two days later it was 78 degrees again because this is Georgia and that’s what the weather does around here. So after nap time while we waited on Dan to get home so we could go eat dinner, we busted out the short sleeves and went to work sidewalk chalking and bike riding and Cozy Coupe-ing.

Joshua’s NASA shirt is so soft. It feels like one of those shirts you’ve had since freshman year (of high school). (What? You don’t have those?)

After washing and wearing it’s still the same size. And the same softness. With no fading on the design. I’m trying to put him in it as many times as I can between now and when the weather gets cold and stays that way since he likes it so much.

I’m happy to have found a brand that creates hip, novelty tees for boys.

To show you how awesome these shirts are, Hank Player is offering TWO shirts to ONE reader. Two shirts, y’all. And you have LOTS of ways you can enter this one, so listen up!

FTC: Hank Player provided us with one t-shirt. They did not provide us with our opinions of these shirts. And if you’ve ever tried to provide your opinion to a 2.5 year old you know how futile that attempt is. They also didn’t pay anything toward my student loans.
