Hi, I’m Miranda. Welcome to Caffeine and Cabernet.
This little corner of the internet started back in 2008 as a creative outlet, long before “content creation” was a career path. I was a high school English teacher by day and a writer-by-night, processing life one blog post at a time. Then in 2009, I became a mom, and suddenly I was a mom with a blog—right in the thick of the “Mom Blogger” movement. What started as a way to document my new life and the chaos turned into something bigger: a passion for authentic storytelling and building real connections online.
In 2012, after my second child made a dramatic entrance (truly—ask me about it sometime), I left the classroom and leaned fully into writing and content creation. Over the years, I’ve worked with brands of all sizes—from Graco and The Home Depot to small, local businesses—always drawn to the stories that matter and the communities behind them.
I’ve co-produced live storytelling events, led advocacy work for mental health, spoken at conferences, and helped launch a gathering for moms navigating postpartum depression and anxiety. Supporting women, especially mothers, through honest conversations and shared experiences is one of the things I’m proudest of.
In 2017, I shifted into full-time marketing and communications, using my storytelling skills to help brands and creators find their voice, grow their audience, and build engaged communities. Whether it’s social media strategy, content development, or community-building—I’m all about clarity, connection, and content that works.
These days, I live just outside Atlanta with my husband, our two incredible kids, and three rescue dogs who are absolutely the stinkiest coworkers around. I’m fueled by strong coffee, an occasional glass of Cabernet, and a deep love of great books, DIY projects, and a well-timed sarcastic quip.
Caffeine and Cabernet is where it all began and where I still come to share personal stories about family, mental health, education, pop culture, and the messy, magical in-betweens of modern motherhood. It’s evolved over time—like I have—but the heart of it is still the same: honest writing that makes people feel seen.
Want to work together?
Let’s make content that connects. Whether you need help with strategy, storytelling, or just finding the right words, I’d love to help.
