Yep, the title pretty much says it all.
I’m still at 198 after a week of SnIce (not to be confused with sniss, which is WAY different).
But you know what?
I’m okay with that.
Because I didn’t gain anything.
I sat on my assets and napped and ate and did nothing (because there was nothing TO DO and no way to GET there even if there WAS something to do) and didn’t gain a pound. And last week was Lady Week, too. So, kudos to me, right?
Today, however, marks my return to the gym from a week-long, ice-imposed hiatus. And today, I’m pushing myself for 20 minutes on the elliptical. I know that the last 5 minutes will all but kill me. I know they will. But I also know that if I’m going to do cardio in hopes of losing weight I’ve got to do 2 things:
1. Sweat (gross!)
2. Do it for long enough to burn more than just 100 calories.
So, that’s where we are. Holding steady-ish at 198. And ready to get back to the gym.
(Did I just say that out loud? That I might actually be enjoying the gym and that maybe, just a little bit, I missed it last week???)
