One in a line of many to come, I’m sure…
Joshua has razor-like talons instead of baby finger nails. Seriously. When given enough time, his head looks like ground beef because he scratches himself all over. It’s bad.
I cut his fingernails last night while he was in the bath tub.
I also cut a piece of skin on his right thumb.
Poor baby SCREAMED and SCREAMED and SCREAMED some more. His finger bled for quite a while. In fact, there were several small blood spots on his Miracle Blanket (which, by the way, TOTALLY lives up to its name) this morning.
I feel like this might be the first incident which sends him into therapy. Or me (again). I feel horrible. I could cry about it.
Good thing he heals fast and seems to have already forgotten about it. Must be because of my magical boobs that make everything better.

Jackie's friend Erin- Not a stalker but you had Joshua one week before I had our little Austin.. I am SO GLAD you posted this because I did this a week ago. I haven't admitted to anyone but my husband who I deferred the job to going forward. I nicked the skin on her... (well shit I dont know which finger bc its completely healed- good news!) and cried with her for 5 minutes! I think she has forgiven me =)

Poor Joshua! :( Luckily for him, he won't remember it. I haven't done this to CJ yet, but I am sure it will happen soon enough...
