McFatty Forevah?

So, 196.5 on the scale yesterday morning. WOOT! Which is exactly what my e-bestie’s scale said, too. WEIRD. (But cool considering we pledged 5 pounds each and both lost two. So collectively we ALMOST reached 5. Which totally counts.)

A 2 pound loss is fantastic considering I only went to the gym once last week. I was feeling really tired and just not well. (Y’all wore me out with all that blogging love!)

Something must be blooming the MIDDLE OF WINTER to drive my allergies haywire. Or, oh yeah, it could be that it was NEARLY 70 this weekend (in January) and two weeks ago we were in the middle of Snowpocalypse and my jacked up sinuses cannot keep up with the rapidly fluctuating barometric pressure. Or something.

I’m still not feeling well, truth be told.

And then I got an email last night that said MY GYM CLOSED. Like “Do not pass “Go” and do not collect your money back because we spent it.” Closed. Effective last night.

Thank you, Universe, for taking away something I enjoyed and leaving me with the return of awesome television (ahem…GLEE) that will make me sit on my bootycakes a little longer in the evenings.

But hey, two pounds lost, right? o_o

I watched what I ate last week and I took people’s suggestions and tried to cut out the sandwich to cut out the bread. I also tried to watch my portions at dinner, but I know I wasn’t as successful as I could’ve been.

And I didn’t have a single glass of wine, opting for chamomile tea instead.(Though I DID have some Keebler Samoa-knock offs… 🙁 )

Whatever happened last week, I’ll take it. Two pounds is two pounds.

I’m off to call another local gym and see if they’re accepting new clients.

And then I’m going to start downing my first 32 ounces of water for the day, because if I can’t get into a gym for a bit, the least I can do is drink so much water I pee away the fat, right?  (Oh…if ONLY it were that easy…)

What are YOU doing this week to be more healthy?
