It’s beginning to look a lot like….

Okay, this post is super hard for me to write because I am a Respecter of the Turkey.  I won’t purchase Christmas gifts until after the bird has been smoked, fried, or roasted and then sliced, plated and consumed.  I must stuff myself on sweet potato souffle and stuffing and mashed potatoes. And apple crisp.  With vanilla ice cream.

(And we wonder why I’m constantly calling myself a McFatty, right?  BECAUSE FOOD IS DELICIOUS.)

Anyway, I feel we need to give Mr. Turkey a moment of silence before I delve right on in to the wonderfulness that is this post.

Lauren and I met in college.  We were both English teachers in training.  After we graduated, we both got jobs and got married and then we both got pregnant.  Her James is just a couple months younger than Joshua.  Lauren, after having James, decided to be a stay-at-home mom.  And then, in a way to bring in a few extra dollars while still staying home with her little guy, she started selling Willow House Designs.

In non-holiday decor, I love the entire Gramercy Collection of Willow House items.  This is spot-on with the decor items in my kitchen.  I am also needing about half the items in the Estate Collection for the time when I maybe decide to finally get around to organizing my office and/or finally get a seat in my mud room.  There are also quite a few items in their Outlet that I wouldn’t mind having in my house, too.

But, what I really want to show you is the holiday pieces that are so, so cute (and on sale, too!!)

As for what I’m thinking I MUST have?

This Herald Angel for my mantel or bookshelf. So I don’t look like a Christmas heathen because I still haven’t managed to buy a Nativity scene.

And this?  This card holder?  Is definitely coming to my house.  I wanted one of these last year. Know what I ended up doing instead? Taping my Christmas cards to my bookshelves in the living room.  (How not southern charming of me. Scarlett would be embarrassed.)
