Well, that’s better than nothing

I am back to 191.5.  That’s pretty freaking good.  I watched what I ate last week, made some smart choices, and managed to only have burritos twice.  Win.

And, by the end of the day my skinny jeans are too big. Which means 1) I’m shrinking and 2) they are made of cheap spandex/lycra/stretchystuff that doesn’t hold its shape well because they are from Old Navy and only cost me $19.

That’s the good news.

The bad news?

I just scarfed down a TWELVE PIECE nugget meal from Chick-fil-A in a fit of stress, desperation, and low blood sugar.  And I think there might’ve been more than 12 nuggets in my pack.

Perhaps the nugget packing person saw my child in tow and thought to throw in a few extra pieces thinking Joshua would eat them.  No dice, of course, since my child doesn’t eat food.

Which means I ate them, of course, because who lets good nuggets go to waste?  No one, that’s who.

But that doesn’t count against me for last week since last week ended today when I stepped on my scale at 6:30 in the morning because my child is incapable of sleeping in despite the fact that we’re on break this week.

The ugly?

It’s “that week” again which means I’ll be ravenous pretty soon.  Trying to eat away all the weeping and rage I’ll feel heading toward the surface.

FUN. TIMES.

So, to combat the impending doom, I’ll be loading up on healthy snacks when I do our weekly grocery shopping later today (or tomorrow. I AM ON BREAK, Y’ALL.)
