I cannot say no to burritos. Or cheeseburgers.

August 23, 2010 by Miranda Leave a Comment

Yes, we totally made another Moe’s run this weekend.  Yes, I totally got the junior sized burrito this time.  I managed to be that good, at least.

I did not, however, manage to NOT go over my daily limit by SEVEN HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE CALORIES yesterday.  Yes, 745.  Yes, half of my daily limit of 1503.

I’m really glad I didn’t stop to pick up a bottle of pinot grigio on the way home from work on Friday. Otherwise, this weekend would’ve been all sorts of awful for me.

So, I ate too many petit fours at the shower on Friday afternoon, had cinnamon roll-y goodness at the mini-camp on Saturday morning AND a bagel, made a Moe’s run, and a Zaxby’s run, AND HAD A CHEESEBURGER on Sunday night.  And a Frosty 🙁

And guess what?

I LOST TWO POUNDS LAST WEEK.

Yep.  That’s right.  I lost two freakin’ pounds.

SCORE.

I’m down to 194.5.

I am not pressing my luck this week.  This week is “that” week, if you know what I’m sayin’. Which means I will be ravenous for the majority of the week.  Because, you know, there’s something about “that” week that makes a person feel like she’s starving to death.  And I will no doubt crave all sorts of really, really bad-for-me things, like chocolate. And more chocolate with a side of chocolate.

But, I’m going to do my best.  That’s really all I can ask of myself, right?
