No, really, can someone tell me??
JUST KIDDING. It’s Fab Friday! (See, you thought I wouldn’t do this two weeks in a row, didn’t you?)
Whew! It’s been a long week of exhaustion and research papers and Gatsby and toddlers and car-swapping and Glee.
To be honest, I almost forgot it was Friday. As in, I felt like this morning was a Monday. But I got to wear jeans to work, so that meant Friday. Or a special day where I get to pay $2 to wear jeans because someone in the building is raising money. But no. Just jeans. Because it’s Friday.
So, what am I doing to make my Friday Fabulous?
Well, let’s see.
1. I’m teaching my favorite novel of all time–The Great Gatsby. And that’s a huge thing for me to say. That it’s my favorite of all time. I suppose I should say it’s my favorite classic. Anyway, to make my Friday Fab, I read one of the parts in a New York mobster circa 1920’s accent today. My students LOVED it. Like, they loved it. So I loved it. Awesome.
2. I’m having wine tonight. A nice, big, cold, big glass of Barefoot Sauv. Blanc. Big. And cold.
3. We’re having nachos for dinner. I’m going to eat nachos and drink wine. Klassy and Classy, simultaneously.
4. I am going to give myself a pedicure tonight. I’d go get one but I sort of went on a clothes-buying spree for Joshua and blew our budget this month. So I’ll have to paint my toes myself.
***EEEK!! I just remembered that I have a check for $40 in my bag from a reimbursement for some gas! WOOOOTTTT!!!. Maybe I can use that and go get a for-real pedicure. And sneak in some sauv. blanc in a straw cup. (Just kidding. Mostly.)***
So, what are YOU doing to make YOUR Friday Fabulous?

I love Fab Friday!
Today I'm a week out from finding out I had a C/P, so needless to say it's been a rough week. I got home from work at 5:00, put on some comfy clothes and got to work on dinner. I made scallops in a wine/creamy sauce with shallots, couscous and a spring mix salad with red wine vinaigrette (sp???). I was very adventurous tonight! Now we're hanging out watching television and playing on computers.
I vote for the pedicure also. I was checking my toes out earlier and they are in desperate need of it, but I'm trying told hold off, we have a wedding in four weeks, and I'd like to wait until that's closer.
