Jillian Michaels can have my soul tomorrow

Tonight, my heart belongs to a bottle of Three Buck Chuck Cabernet Sauvignon and leftovers of The Pioneer Woman’s Fancy Macaroni.

OY!  What a day.

This ear infection business can kiss my ass.  I don’t know what’s been up with my child today but I am literally exhausted from watching him.  I haven’t been this exhausted from watching him since he was a colicky, reflux-y, put-me-back-inPUTMEBACKIN newborn.  For real.

He woke up at 7:30 almost every morning last week.  This week?  No way.  6:00 am.  At the latest.  And then it’s “WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH PICK ME UP!!!  WAAAAAAAAAAHAHHHHHHHHHH PUT ME DOWN!!!  HAHA The dog is funny!  WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH PICK ME UP”  Wash, rinse, repeat.  All.  Day.  Long.  With a grand total of 80 minutes worth of naps, each of which occurred after 20 minutes of bouts of screaming alternating wth bouts of idle chatter with Curious George alternating with bouts of minimal whining.

I feel like he has cried or whined almost all day long.  And I think it’s all due to the fact that he’s so over-tired.  And there’s nothing I can do about it.

The NP said to call back if he didn’t seem better after two days on the new antibiotic.  If he doesn’t wake up a new baby in the morning, Sarah’s getting a call from me.

Or I’m buying ear plugs.

And more Three Buck Chuck.

1^That's A's contribution to my comment.

I made the fancy macaroni, too. We weren't that impressed.

Also, we have our first ear infections but we caught them super early so he is handling it well. I'll bring you more Chuck to tide you over.

And because I haven't told you lately, you're an awesome mom!
