LOL!! Turning on the Wii is not any more clear to me now than it was before I read this email. I love you anyway, Dan. 🙂
Alright, I read your blog this morning. So here goes.
First off, pick up the remote and hit Play Wii.
Then open the cabinet.
On the bottom shelf, there are a bunch of video cables. Each component gets three video cables – red, green, and blue. Each cable is bundled and tagged with things like “SAT” (for the DirecTV box), DVD, Wii, and TV. Right now, SAT is plugged into TV using small, black cable couplers. You’ll want to unplug SAT from TV and plug in the Wii cables (they are the only ones that are actually gray in color). Then turn on the Wii and you’re ready to go.
At some point, I do want a new receiver to make all this switching easier. But we have other things to take care of first.
Love you!
Mii
Do you think you could figure this out??

Just for the record, we got an auto switching thing for like $20 at Wal Mart and it was SO worth it!

We have DirectTV and a Wii (and an XBOX360!), and I don't have to unplug/plug in new stuff to play. That WOULD be confusing!! I think you need to redo your setup. I have stuff going in/out through the VCR and it's quite easy. I'm NOT a techie either!!!

I think that I'd have to have one of my kids hook it up for me. I have no idea.... Stopping by from SITS!
