“Mom Brain” at its finest

I took Joshua into the nursery to change his diaper and get him dressed for the day after he woke up from his nap this morning. As I always do, I asked him what he wanted to wear today. (For the record, neither he nor the dog are very good conversationalists.) We selected his cute Osh-Kosh onesie with a triceratops on it. Then I took his diaper and his PJs off. (This kid loves to be naked!)

I almost, as in, had the onesie in my hand all smooshed up and ready to put it over his head, almost put the onesie on without putting on a clean diaper first.

THAT would’ve been a fun mistake…

Methinks I need more coffee.
