We went from sleeping like an angel to sleeping like…well, to not sleeping very well at all, and now we’re back to sleeping semi-well. And napping during the day, too. This kid confuses me.
I think he’s been going through a growth spurt because for the past two days, he’s wanted to eat every hour on the hour. Talk about your sore boobs! Yikes! Mine have definitely gotten a workout this week! But, the good news on that side is that they’ve been keeping up. Woohoo for good supply!
We also managed to take one and a half car rides this week without a high-speed meltdown, which meant I was able to get a real lunch on Wednesday. He didn’t make a peep on the way to Wendy’s or on the way home. We were also able to go to Old Navy on Wednesday evening and he didn’t make a sound on the way there. (The way home was a different, scream-your-lungs-out story, but it was close to bath time.)
I’m afraid to post anything more “brag-like” for fear that he’ll flip whatever sort of routine we’ve got going on it’s head.
Oh, you mustmustmust get yourself a Moby Wrap. I have a baby who LOVES to be held. LOVES it. I can get him in a bouncy seat for about twenty minutes a day. The rest of the time he’s in my arms/lap/shoulder or sleeping in the pack-n-play or beside me in the bed. This means I get NOTHING done during the day. Nothing. In an attempt to get my hands back, wWe bought an Infantino Comfort Rider and he’s not a huge fan of it. I ordered a Moby and it came today. Dan was home and he helped me tie it in the kangaroo hold and Joshua was asleep in under 10 minutes! SCORE!!
I have just typed this blog post with two hands.
