We’re going to see my family next weekend (more on how panicked I am about traveling with a two-month old later this week…) and since we’re going, I thought I’d get some birth announcements printed so that I can give my aunts a picture of Joshua. I took one of his newborn pictures and stole an idea from an Etsy seller that I meant to buy the announcements from several weeks ago and created a birth announcement in Picasa.
Here’s what I came up with:
I think I did a pretty awesome job! (And Amanda Plavich did a GREAT job with the photos! Thanks a million!)
Here’s the really cool part.
I uploaded the photo to Photobucket and Photobucket prints to Target. I ordered 35 photos at 20 cents a piece.
When I went to Target to pick the photos up, the photo lab guy picked up a very thick envelope. Apparently, the woman who printed the photos had some sort of accident and she printed my order twice. And they printed a coupon for me.
I got 70 birth announcements for $6.50.
HOLY CRAP, y’all!!
I’ll still be handing these things out when he’s five! Good thing he’s cute!
