No Boy Human yet

I walked the halls of my tiny hospital for two and a half hours last night. Seriously, when I say this hospital is tiny, I’m serious. I almost started counting floor tiles while walking.

We had a little scare last night when I tried to get “cozy” in this bed and get some rest. He doesn’t like it when I lay on my sides. The nurse wanted to get the doctor to put in an internal monitor, but we kept changing my position in the bed and finally we got good heart sounds. We think he might’ve been laying on the cord when I rolled over, so I had to sleep sitting up/slightly reclined.

I got some sleep, which is the good thing.

However, the doctor was here while I was sleeping and she looked at my monitor read-outs and I’m not having enough/strong enough contractions on my own, so they’re starting pitocin soon. I’ve lost too much fluid to not get something going soon.

I’m scared of the pitocin. I’m scared I won’t last without the epidural. Please keep your fingers crossed and say some prayers for me.

Also, mesh panties are SOOOOO in fashion…I should start my own line. 🙂
