We made our first baby purchase yesterday. Socks. Yes, socks. They were so tiny and cute and soft and cuddly that I just had to have them! We went to an outlet mall yesterday to look for furniture and we stopped into Carter’s to find a “Happy BIRTHday” gift for K & J’s little boy when he makes his arrival in a couple of weeks and I couldn’t resist bringing home these socks for Baby. At least Baby will have warm, fuzzy feet for at least a few hours!K & J only have two weeks left until little baby C gets here! Things are going to be so different in our group of friends after he gets here. We’re going to try and go out for dinner next weekend for a “last hoorah” of sorts before their baby arrives. It’ll be one of the last dinners where we won’t be bringing carriers and bottles and baby food along, not that either baby will be eating baby food for a while. This is the end of a chapter in our lives, but the beginning of a new one too. I’m excited.

Our big ultrasound is scheduled for October 30th. Baby better cooperate.
