Meet the New Girl

April 11, 2012 by Miranda 29 Comments

Introducing, for the first time on NSJM, but maybe in the last place of all my other social media outlets, my VBAC baby girl.

Meet Emma.

Squishy baby, just a few hours old.

"Oh, you're the lady with the boobs, right?"

8 pounds, 6 ounces

(It's like a bookmark, but...not.)

20 inches long

Med-free VBAC.

I did it, y’all. I so did it.

And I’ll tell you ALL ABOUT IT as soon as I have a chance to do so with both hands. I’m behind the curve on typing one-handed while nursing a baby and eating a meal and saving the world with the other one.

OH YAY YAY YAY! I’m so happy that your hard work and guts at switching providers so late in the game worked out for the best. What a reward! You did it, mama! And of course inspiration for me as I face my VBAC hopes in the next month or so. Oh what happy news to see in my reader this morning! Happy Birthday little Emma and Happy Birthing Day to Mama. YOU DID IT!
