I’m such a bad McFatty.
I have no goals. And I have a horrible time sticking to goals when I make them. HORRIBLE TIME, Y’ALL.
I dropped a jeans size. My work pants fit comfortably. I do not fit nicely into the beautiful purple sheath dress that I am dying to buy for my 10-year reunion.
(Part of that is due to the fact that my body will never be the same again. I will always have weird flabby skin in my mid section unless I spend thousands of dollars for plastic surgery to have the flab excised and turned into…what…lamp oil? Isn’t that what happens to whale blubber??)
Meh.
That’s where I am today. Just “Meh.”
So, I need help setting and sticking to goals. What are reasonable, attainable goals you’ve set for yourself and met before? Setting a goal of “I want to lose 20 lbs!” seems to not be working for me, especially since I’m not even sure I set that goal in the first place.
Maybe that’s my problem. I never set any goals. I just said “I want to lose weight.”
Help, y’all. Help a lot.
