Introducing the LG Studio Line at Best Buy!

Sharing is caring!

When we built our house, one of the things we spent a great deal of time designing was our kitchen. We’re food people. We love to cook and eat and entertain. We actually chose our floorplan because the kitchen was so large and open to the living room. It would make having people over and entertaining a seamless experience.

One of the things we didn’t upgrade, however, were the appliances. They were just out of our budget, and we knew that down the road, they could be replaced easily if we found they didn’t work the way we wanted them to.

After attending the Type-A Parent conference earlier this month, I have my eyes on a line of LG Studio appliances from Best Buy, which was designed in collaboration with Nate Berkus. (For more about his design style and input on these appliances, check out this video.)

Best Buy, as one of Type-A’s sponsors, set up a working kitchen suite at the Grand Hyatt, allowing all of the attendees the opportunity to check out the line-up, which included a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and washer and dryer pair. It was a pretty sweet suite.

Plus they had Diet Coke.

We also got to see Top Chef Kevin Gillespie cook in the kitchen, demonstrating one of the recipes from his latest cookbook, Pure Pork Awesomeness. I’m not sure I’ll ever make beef meatballs again after trying his recipe. (Page 202 in the book!)

One of the features I loved about the refrigerator was the mini-fridge in the door of the LG Studio refrigerator. The door-in-door detail means that I can keep juices, yogurts, cheese sticks, or other refrigerated snacks for the kids in the secondary door, giving them easier access.

The dishwasher has what’s called an “easy rack” system. Have a to0-tall item that won’t fit under the top rack? The top rack is adjustable in two ways. You can move half of it instead of having to change the height of the entire thing.

And the oven? Convection. It’s the first slide-in range to feature the burner on the back wall instead of the bottom, which means a more even cooking experience. (My mom’s biscuits in a convection oven? HEAVEN. Seriously.)

Best Buy has a few cool specials running right now if you’re in the market for new appliances. (But dudes, don’t buy your wife a stove for Christmas unless you put a diamond ring inside it.

  • Save an additional $400 when you create your own 4 piece LG kitchen package (Runs through 11/3)

If you’re looking for new appliances, the LG Studio line is one to check out. The features are designed with the idea that the kitchen is the heart of the home.

It’s where families come together.
